During Donald Trump’s 80th birthday UFC event, fighter Josh Hokit stared straight into the camera on live TV and said Michelle Obama was “a man,” clearly trying to please Trump, who supposedly gave a small smile.
After shouting about his “Lord and Savior Jesus Christ,” Hokit looked directly at the camera and said, “And lastly, Michelle Obama is a man!
Am I right America?”
CNN reports that Trump, who was sitting in the front row for the fight, “seemed to show a half-smile” after Hokit’s offensive comment.
This behavior isn’t surprising for someone who has made “giving and receiving brain damage” a career, but it’s incredibly frustrating to see such transphobic remarks being made casually, especially when it’s so disrespectful to a former First Lady who has worked hard to help American kids and set them on the right path.
Trump and his supporters hate Michelle Obama because she is everything their wife, Melania, is not.
Michelle is a strong Black woman who is a successful lawyer and has worked tirelessly for children in America, while Melania is (allegedly ™) a victim of sex trafficking who has allegedly betrayed other survivors to protect her abusive husband and handlers.
