Onlookers were mystified when the workers ordered to remove Donald Trump’s name from the Kennedy Center took hours to build a huge scaffolding when the job could have been easily accomplished with a cherry-picker or two – until they stretched a long curtain around it to cover up what they were doing.
Then it became laughably clear that Trump is such an insecure whiny baby that he didn’t want to watch his name being taken off the wall – or for anyone else to see.
But of course, as with everything Trump does, this backfired in hilarious fashion.
He might as well have put a big sign up saying “GEE, I WONDER WHAT’S GOING ON BEHIND THIS CURTAIN” as tongues began to wag and the pictures went viral on social media.
For all his efforts to hide his humiliation, he ensured that it would be the number one thing that people talked about today.
