Hunter Biden recently posted something on X that really highlights the issues with America’s media — and it’s hard to argue with what he said.
He wrote, “So let me get this straight,” referring to Jake Tapper, a CNN anchor, who’s been criticizing some of the claims in Jill Biden’s latest memoir.
Meanwhile, Jared and Ivanka are building a private island on protected land in Albania.
That’s true. Over 100,000 Albanians are protesting. Anti-corruption prosecutors have started an investigation. The land is important for flamingos, but the media barely covers it.
Don Jr. married the daughter of Epstein’s banker.
That’s also true. While Epstein survivors read FBI reports outside the Justice Department, Pam Bondi refused to answer any questions about Trump and Epstein. DOJ lawyers even stepped in to stop her from speaking.
A startup backed by Don Jr. just got a huge $620 million loan from the Pentagon.
That’s a fact. But even though Trump’s financial records show him trading stocks in companies his administration later gives huge contracts to, Don Jr.’s connections to Pentagon contractors get almost no media attention.
Eric is taking an Israeli drone company public for $1.5 billion, right in the middle of a war with Iran that wasn’t really wanted.
That’s true, but again, it got almost no coverage.
And then Hunter Biden delivered the punchline: “And I know: ‘But what about your paintings, Hunter?'”
Hunter is completely right.
His art sales, his laptop, and his legal issues got years of media attention. Meanwhile, the Trump kids’ corrupt foreign deals, investments, Pentagon contracts, and links to Epstein’s associates got a free pass.
While Jake Tapper is criticizing Jill Biden over her book, Jared Kushner is destroying protected wetlands for a $4 billion resort, while his father-in-law is handling foreign policy and raising billions from shady deals with foreign governments.
