Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) was on Fox News on Thursday night and once again asked viewers to send him money. He is running for re-election in November’s midterms, and his seat is seen as a strong Republican one, according to the Cook Political Report. Still, he used his appearance on Hannity to support President Donald Trump and ask for campaign funds.
Graham said, “We’re fighting for the heart and soul of this country.
I’m in this fight. I need your help. I hate to say it, but I’ve been outspent twice by Democrats.” He then asked viewers to visit his website and “help me if you can.”
He added, “I’ve been with President Trump at every step.
I think he’s been a great president. He makes us safer and more prosperous. The Democrats have a lot of money. I don’t know where they’re getting it from, but I need your help.”
Graham mentioned his website again twice, saying, “Please help me if you can.”
In February, Graham appeared on Hannity and told viewers to “pray” and give money to his campaign.
He said, “We’re losing money fast. I don’t know where all this money is coming from, but if you can help, help tonight. The money goes to a good cause. It’ll save our country. God bless Donald Trump.”
During his 2020 race against Jaime Harrison, Graham appeared on Fox & Friends and said, “I’m being financially beaten,” while telling viewers to go to his site.
In that race, Graham asked Fox News viewers for money in at least eight different appearances.
In April 2023, Graham was on Hannity and urged viewers to donate to Trump, who had just been charged with 34 counts of lying about business records.
“I’m sorry I’m so upset.
But please help President Trump,” Graham said then, even though Trump was still running for president. “If you can give five or ten dollars, if you can’t give a dollar, that’s fine. Just pray.”
