“If Nancy Mace (soon to be a sucker and loser in her governors race) wants to strip Ilhan Omar of her committees for words she never said, MANY people are saying we should impeach the incompetent Kash Patel and Pam Bondi for the lies they ACTUALLY TOLD!!” Veasey wrote on X.
He was referring to a post by MAGA lunatic liar Congresswoman Nancy Mace in which she blatantly smeared Congresswoman Ilhan Omar by falsely claiming that she “celebrated” the the killing of Charlie Kirk. Omar did nt such thing. Eager to pander to the racist MAGA base, Mace has also called for Omar to be “deported back to Somalia.”
The Hill confirmed with a “source familiar” with the matter that Veasey has in fact drafted the articles of impeachment in question.
In his tweet, Veasey attached a screenshot of a post from Patel admitting that the FBI had released a suspect in the murder of Charlie Kirk, proving his incompetence. Veasey also included a screenshot of Bondi promising to release Jeffrey Epstein’s client list. It should go without saying, but Bondi has not released that list and continues to stonewall the American people.
While these articles of impeachment likely will not pass thanks to Republican control of Congress, they are worth drafting, introducing, and supporting nonetheless. In doing so, Democrats can foreground the profound incompetence and dishonesty displayed by this administration. There is a massive PR win to be had here ahead of the mid-term elections.
At the same time, these articles will force Republicans to rally around Bondi and Patel, two increasingly politically radioactive individuals. The American people are waking up to the fact that a vile coverup is underway to hide Donald Trump’s involvement in Epstein’s predations and Bondi and Patel are at the heart of that scheme.
